Kid’s Programs

ABILITY LEVEL:
Kids must be very strong riding on pavement because we ride them on dirt.  They must be comfortable riding 5+ miles! We encourage you to ride with them as much as possible on pavement before camp! (Also note that TUESDAY’s camp days are mandatory because we teach fundamentals!)

Early Registration Deadlines:
Must register 72 hours in advance. No day of camp registrations.

Early Registration Discounts:
Sign up by May 5 and receive 20% off the kid's programs; sign up by June 2 and receive 10% off the kid's programs. (your responsibility to take the discount, no refunds issued).

Where we meet:
All Vail Camps meet at Ski and Snowboard Club Vail at the base of Golden Peak (NO parking in front of building!); Eagle camps meet at the Brush Creek Pavilion.

Rain Policy:
We are an outdoor camp, so if it is pouring we will do our makeup day that Friday.
 
What to bring (applies to all programs):
*Your tuned up mountain bike with gears
*Helmet
*Camelback or water bottle on bike
*Snack for each day to be carried with you
*Gloves and bike shorts are encouraged (We have these items for sale on location)

Kid's Camps sponsored by Alpine Bank
These three day camps are for kids ages 7-13. Riders of all abilities will learn the basics of mountain biking, racing, safety, and bike maintenance, while making new friends and exploring great trails. Cancellation policy: No refunds within 5 days. Refunds outside of 5 days, we collect 20%. No switching camps within 5 days.

Our goals for this program:
*To help each kid learn and improve the skills of mountain biking, safety, and bike maintenance.
*Instill in them, a passion for mountain biking, a life long sport.
*Meet other kids to ride and have fun with.

Price: $125  Includes  all coaching, a water bottle and prizes

Adventure Camps sponsored by the Lodge at Lionshead
We will take you on a biking scavenger hunt on Tuesdays, a hiking scavenger hunt on Wednesdays, and play outdoor games on Thursdays.  The adventure camps meet each day after the kid's camps.

Price: $105 ($35 per afternoon)

Kid’s Private and Group Instruction
Call us to book a private or group lesson for your kids. These sessions are great to learn the basic skills of mountain biking, or to bring their skills to the next level, or to help them train for the race season or upcoming event. Also great for birthday parties or other group functions.

Price: $60/hour  1-3 people    $10/hour per extra person
